Most dryer sheets are polyester — meaning microplastic shedding every cycle and a plastic strip ending up in the lint trap (and downstream, in the ocean). Ours are made from biodegradable cellulose fibers, soften with plant-derived agents instead of quaternary ammonium softeners (QACs), and break down in industrial compost.

The fragrance side: the same perfumer-composed Ruby Sunset Bliss scent that lives in the detergent and booster. The dryer is where it really sets — heat opens the fibers, the scent settles in, and your sheets read this softly for up to 48 hours.

What we left out: no QACs (they coat fibers in a synthetic film that kills towel absorbency and activewear wicking), no formaldehyde, no palm oil, no animal-derived ingredients. Vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic-friendly.

What we left out, and why:

Are these compostable?
Yes — the cellulose fibers and plant-based softener break down in industrial compost. Backyard compost depends on your setup (temperature, moisture, microbial activity).

Will they leave residue on dark clothes?
No. No QAC film, no synthetic softener residue — just soft fibers and the Ruby fragrance. Safe on black denim, navy linen, charcoal wool.

One sheet per load?
Yes for medium loads. Add a second sheet for heavy or large loads (king-size sheets, towel sets, oversized comforters).
