What we left out, and why:

• No PVA / PVOH — the plastic film most "eco" pods and sheets are made from. Dissolves in water but stays in the water supply. Banned in NYC starting 2027.
• No optical brighteners — UV-reactive chemicals that mask off-notes by making fabric look brighter under sunlight. They don't clean — they trick.
• No phosphates, parabens, SLS, 1,4-dioxane, formaldehyde, chlorine bleach.
• No dyes (the sheet stays its natural off-white) and no starch fillers (so concentration is real, not bulked).
