Unscented isn't easy. Most "fragrance-free" detergents quietly use a masking scent — a neutralizer that smells of nothing but still introduces an allergen. Ours is truly fragrance-absent: no perfume, no masking note, no "clean" stand-in.

Is this safe for newborn clothes?

For us, yes. Most brands use a masking scent (a neutralizer that smells of nothing but still introduces a chemical). We leave fragrance out entirely — no perfume, no cover-up.

Will it actually clean as well as the scented version?
Same plant-derived enzyme blend, same cleaning power. The only difference is the fragrance, which doesn't contribute to performance.
